KUNINGAN (MASS) – Ramadhan market is an annual agenda organized by youth organization (karang taruna) at the beginning of the month of Ramadan in the Silebu village. This agenda has been running for three years.
Ramadhan market is located in the main square, in front of the mosque, beside the Silebu village office. Usually there are much street vendors who come from various regions. According to data from last year, there were about 40 merchants participating there.
Ramadhan market opens at 4 to 6 pm. Usually, many types of snacks are provided, like meatball (baso), coconut ice (es kelapa), fried egg (cilor), sausages (sosis), mix fruit ice (es buah), meatball roasted (bacok bakar) Etc. And, The Ramadan market is held for twenty nine days from the first day.
The chief of the youth organization Asep Ilajuddin Bahri said that For this year, the Ramadhan market will be temporarily stopped because of Corona. Because the potential for spread of the virus is greater because gathering of many people. Then, Yayat Hidayatulloh as secretary of youth organization immediately made a letter and spread it.
There are many effects when the ramadhan market will be stopped. Like no income and quiet. Because, we have known that there are many participants in this Ramadhan market. Like mothers, fathers, children, immigrants, widows, widowers etc.
